What time is Check in/Check out?

Check in: 3:00pm 

Check out: 9:00am

Does my stay have to be from Saturday to Saturday?

Yes, all stays at our cottage are booked by the week beginning on Saturday. 

Is there parking available?

Parking is available at the top of the hill (approximately 150 ft). We do not have vehicle access to the building. 

Can I bring my pets?

Unfortunately, our cottage is not pet friendly.

Is there free Wifi available?

Yes. We have free wifi at our cottage.

I have friends visiting the area, can they come to the cottage?

 No overnight guests. All daytime guests must be pre-approved by Karl and Debbie. 

I smoke, is there a space for smoking/vaping?

You are able to smoke/vape if you are at least 9 meters from the cottage and all butts are picked up. Absolutely no smoking in the cottage and no littering. 

Can we bring our boat?

You are welcome to bring a boat that can be launched at the public landing. Our dock does not support boats being tied to it however, you are welcome to secure your boat on shore. 

Can we have a camp fire?

Yes! We do have a fire pit available. Fires must be attended to at all times and extinguished before leaving it. Please Note: Fire restrictions are common in our area. Click HERE to see the latest restrictions.

What is there to do near Indian Lake Cottage?

We are located approximately 5 kilometers from Blue Lake Provincial Park which has many hiking trails. 

Vermilion Bay (about 13 kilometers) has a small grocery store (the Co-op), a sports shop (Bobby's Corner), a food (Bobby's Bites @ Bobby's Corner), and other things to do such as shopping @ Moose Creek, Villlage Trading Post by Clark's, or Nowhere Craft Chocolate & Coffee Shop.

Dryden (about 50 kilometers) & Kenora (about 75 kilometers) has larger grocery stores, restaurants, and activities to enjoy.
